Do you think the news will do a story about holiday travel?
Question by Turd Ferguson: Do you think the news will do a story about holiday travel?
Most likely shot from an airport, where they will do pointless interviews. There will also be stock footage of traffic jams and talk about gas prices being lower.
Source: Same story they do every year.

haha.
funny you asked this.
I literally saw one just two or three minutes ago.
yeah, it’s so pointless to do a story on travel.
What do you think? Answer below!

They always do.
Working a closing shift today and have already heard this story 8 or 10 times. Every year it is the same story.
By the way may the Lord Bless and Keep You this Thanksgiving. Drive safely, eat too much, watch the Cowboys and have wonderful day.
They always do, amd I do not see that ritual changing anytime soon.
They do every year, so why should this year be different……….then Friday it will be how crowded the mall will be with shoppers………zzzzzzzzzz.
I’m sure the story will be done … again… this year. Unless something earth-shaking happens, you know, Pearl Harbor, Berlin Wall (either going up or down), Twin Towers being brought down… Then the story will STILL be done, just shown on TV the next night.
It’s kinda like doing a story on Santa being tracked from the North Pole, or reprinting “Yes, Virginia, There Is A Santa Clause”…it’s expected.
It’s also pretty dull reading. The “crowded mall” assignment is usually given to the newest reporter on the staff… I think it’s punishment…and the hope that maybe someone NEW will come up with a different angle…but they never do.
Yup…it’s kinda like the people who wait till the last minute to file their taxes. Every April 15th, they feel the need to stand outside of the post office and report on it.
