How to reduce stress during holiday travel?

Question by Jennifer S: How to reduce stress during holiday travel?
I don’t know if I am the only one out that seems to get all worked up over holiday travel. I am normally a very level person but being around family and the travel itself has me in knots. Does anyone have any methods that could help me get through this holiday season?

You are not under stress. Your name is under Jesus, a name above all names. stress is a name of a demon and it needs to be under you feet where it belongs. It has no power over you unless you let it. Remember, Jesus stripped the devil of his power.

Get enough sleep BEFORE your trip. Plan your travel and have a PLAN B in case there needs to be changes. RELAX–millions of people have anxiety over travel–you are NOT alone. When you get settled in on the plane or bus–say hello to a person and chat a bit–pleasant conversation passes time. Do a crossword–bring a nice easy to carry book to read—RELAX—and just be nice around your family–you have nothing to prove–RELAX and enjoy them!! EAT HEALTHY–don’t cram sugar and fast food into yourself–bad foods and no sleep cause anxiety to increase. JUST HAVE FUN.
